Last Updated on: 27 January 2012

Tourism New Zealand's role is to market New Zealand as a visitor destination so as to maximize the long term benefits to New Zealand. We operate 11 offices in 10 countries, with three offices in New Zealand: Auckland and Wellington.

Making publicly available expense information relating to the Chief Executive of Tourism New Zealand supports transparent disclosure and the New Zealand State Services Commission's request to make the Chief Executive's expenditure publicly available. Expenses relate to expenditure incurred by the Chief Executive in relation to (a) travel (accommodation, fares, meals and related costs); (b) providing hospitality and; (c) anything not covered by the above categories.

Disclosure is undertaken six monthly for the periods 1 July to 31 December and 1 January to 30 June.
