This is achieved by developing and implementing marketing, media, trade, and partnership strategies working co-operatively with our offices around the world and the travel industry.
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager who can make a real impactleading and executing partnership campaign activity into the Australian market. These are co-funded joint venture campaigns developed with public and private partners.
Based in Wellington or Auckland, this role reports to our Regional Marketing Communications Manager – Australia who is based in Sydney. Not only will you be responsible for the strategic development, implementation and reporting of campaigns, a key part of the role will be developing relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate synergies between PR, Trade and Marketing initiatives. The other major part of the role is developing and managing key external relationships with, regional tourism operators and industry bodies who you will work with regularly.
Passionate and energetic;you will be degree qualified and an experienced consumer marketer with 6-10 years’ experience (preferably in FMCG) with a proven track record of setting strategy and executing on delivery. You will have a strong understanding of digital marketing and be experienced developing and implementing intergrated marketing campaigns measured against specific targets.
Along with your excellent communication and stakeholder management skills you will be experienced working within a matrix style organisation and across multiple locations. You will need to work autonomously and be willing to travel on a semi regular basis mostly to our Sydney office. A passion for New Zealand is a must and an understanding of the Australian media market will be of benefit.
