Once an inbound tour operator has been granted Approved Destination Status (ADS) system approval, they will need to renew their ADS registration yearly. The documentation and application fee must be received by Tourism New Zealand's China Monitoring Unit at least 20 working days before the end of the term of the inbound tour operator's current ADS approval.

  • GST Statement of Account certificates issued by the Inland Revenue Department for the previous six months
  • If there have been any changes to staff engaged in ADS-related work, the following will need to be supplied:
    1. For all New Zealand-based staff and/or representatives, certified documentation confirming their New Zealand citizenship, New Zealand residence or work permit status
