Indonesia is one of Tourism New Zealand’s (TNZ) three key Emerging Markets globally. Over the last decade, about 1 million Indonesians have visited Australia. Many of these consumers are looking for something new, and are interested in knowing more about a New Zealand holiday.
Astindo Travel Fair is one of the two main travel fairs in Jakarta annually (the other being Kompass in September). Travel Fairs in South East Asia are an opportunity for active conversion, as consumers flock to take advantage of special offers from airlines and agents.
2016 will be the 3rd year that TNZ will exhibit at this event. The event is most likely to be of interest to Inbound Operators and RTOs who are keen to build their presence in the Jakarta market.
