European Webinar Programme 2017/2018 – 'He waka eke noa'

Location: Online webinar
Market: Germany, UK/Europe

Tourism New Zealand is putting together a series of webinars to European travel agents and sellers on a range of topics and we need industry help to showcase New Zealand. The webinar series is aptly named 'He waka eke noa' which reflects that we are all in this together, working for the greater good of New Zealand.

A survey conducted in May 2017 highlighted an increased demand for Tourism New Zealand webinars among travel agents from all over Europe. This survey further revealed that European agents prefer to hear about New Zealand straight from the source. Based on our agents’ insights we have designed an extensive webinar calendar covering the topics European agents are most interested in.

The presentations will take place over 2017 and 2018 and will be webinar based so you can take part from your home or office. While we will look after the technology side of things, we will need IMAs and New Zealand product that are keen to take part.

The webinar series consists of 3 regional webinars and 4 webinars showcasing New Zealand product and experiences:

  • For regional webinars, participating IMAs will be given the opportunity to present their region for 15 minutes.
  • For product webinars, NZ product will be given the opportunity to provide 1-2 PowerPoint slides, which will be presented by the Tourism New Zealand team in London.

This is a great opportunity to get your product or region in front of a travel sellers from across the UK and Europe - in the past, Tourism New Zealand has had agents from 14 different European countries join our webinars.

No participation fee applies and Tourism New Zealand will handle the organisation of the webinars.
