Tourism New Zealand's Approved Destination Status (ADS) team has
recently updated the Chinese visitor information brochure available
at Auckland International Airport.
This new brochure includes information on:
- New Zealand's history, culture and regions,
- Visitor safety,
- Shopping in New Zealand, and;
- i-SITES and Qualmark.
Tourism New Zealand (TNZ) is aware that a number of Chinese
visitors arriving in New Zealand still have a limited understanding
of New Zealand and the visitor services available here.
The Chinese language brochure provides useful
information to Chinese visitors about New Zealand to help them to
get the most out of their time here.
Tourism New Zealand would like to extend a big "thank you" to
everyone who has assisted with the development of this brochure. In
particular we would like to thank the New Zealand Customs Service
who has agreed to display these brochures at the Customs arrival
area in Auckland International Airport.
This will ensure that each and every Chinese visitor has the
opportunity to receive a copy of this information upon their
arrival in New Zealand.
We anticipate that these brochures will be in place either prior
to or shortly after the new year period.
