In the September issue of Switch, a leading Japanese lifestyle
and culture magazine, a 32-page write up features New Zealand in
all its beauty.
Led by Air New Zealand, and supported by Tourism New Zealand
(TNZ), an 8-page pullout guidebook on New Zealand's top
spots was also included in the magazine.
Iconic New Zealand scenery shots alongside TNZ's campaign imagery
promoted New Zealand as a fun destination, with comments like "come
over and play" accompanying many of the images.
A Japanese artist, Seitaro Kuroda - famous for his live painting
performances, is on the cover of the magazine and is the leading
figure of the New Zealand feature story covering his travels
through Queenstown, Christchurch and Lake Tekapo in the South
Island. Chie Morimoto, another famous Japanese artist, visited the
North Island, travelling to Paihia, Hokianga and Auckland. The two
very different artists' stories complement each other and offer
readers a compelling and engaging experience of New
Zealand.
The
8-page insert featured a New Zealand touring map and must-visit
trip recommendations for New Zealand.
With a circulation of over 100,000, Switch magazine is a high
