Date Published: 5 July 2011

Opportunities to benefit from the increasing number of international arrivals from Singapore by better understanding visitor needs and expectations are contained in the Asia Visitor Study.

The study was commissioned to determine if New Zealand's current tourism offering met consumer demand and expectations, and to identify the sectors or products that required further development to deliver high visitor satisfaction.

Singaporean tourists are a very high quality tourist segment for New Zealand. The research shows in general visitors from Singapore were happy with their experiences in New Zealand but suggests improvements could be made.
