The release of the revised hiking brochure, "New Zealand - the
perfect walks in the world", will once again profile our natural
landscapes to active Korean hikers.
A visit to Seoul on any weekend will reinforce to any visitor
the quality and popularity of hiking's profile as a lifestyle
choice across Korea's young and old. And with New Zealand having
some of the most dramatic natural landscapes and great walks
available in the world this sounds like an ideal match
up!
The brochure features New Zealand's nine great walks and includes a
special feature on Milford Track and Routeburn Track, the most
popular of New Zealand's walks among Korean travellers. The 20,000
copies of the brochure will be distributed to retailers ahead of
the upcoming summer hiking season. Additional walking and hiking
content is also available on the Korean version of
newzealand.com.
Future promotional activity will promote New Zealand's famous
hiking courses and tours across the country from a range of popular
travel retailers and FIT hiking specialists to capture the natural
appeal of hiking in New Zealand and its uncluttered and uncrowded
appeal as a hiker's destination.
Hyecho Trekking is one of Korea's FIT hiking specialists and has a
page dedicated to New Zealand hiking options.
