The IMA UK/Europe Workshop was
attended by thirteen New Zealand representatives from eight IMAs
(International Marketing Alliances) from 4-15 July
2011.
The event began in London where the eight IMAs met with 18 UK
Product Managers, five Scandinavian & Dutch Product Mangers and
150 UK frontliners over three days.
During the three days the Product Managers had full appointment
schedules meeting with the IMAs as well as two frontliner
events. The first being in-depth training day for specialists
with a special Poi workshop by Manaia and the second a sports
themed extravaganza evening with fantastic educational
presentations from the IMAs who got right into the theme. In
addition the IMAs presented to 40 media at a Bloggers and Online
Media event. The IMAs created interactive activities and
tastings showcasing their regions.
For the first time the IMAs headed to Paris and held meetings
with eight Product Managers, followed by evening presentation with
50 frontliners.
Following Paris, it was then onto Frankfurt and Munich for three
days where the IMAs met with 17 German, Swiss and Austrian Product
Mangers as well as 100 frontline agents.
The event was an opportunity for the New Zealand IMAs to educate
a targeted audience of UK and European sellers. It was aimed
at Product Managers and frontline sellers from key partner
companies to update and develop their New Zealand regional and
product knowledge.
