A great deal has been written about how marketing has changed
over the years. And it has. But what's behind these changes is the
way customers and prospective customers have changed. This is the
remarkable thing. Marketing has mostly been responsive - and not
always fast enough or far enough to keep up with customers'
demands!
The way consumers shop has gone through a remarkable
transformation. Nowhere is this shift more noticeable than for big
ticket items like durables, autos, finance and of course,
travel.
