Tourism New Zealand's 100% Middle-earth, 100% Pure New Zealand campaign has been acknowledged once again, this time by readers of Germany's largest travel publishing group - Mairdumount.
Awarded at the Mairdumount Tourism and Travel Media Awards in Hamburg last week, the award sees the campaign recognised as the best tourism and travel campaign in the German market, a new category launched this year. The award was presented to Razorfish, Tourism New Zealand's appointed agency in Germany.
Tourism New Zealand's 100% Middle-earth campaign was among twelve finalists, selected by a jury of Mairdumont publishers and tourism and advertising industry professionals. The winner was then selected by Mairdumont network users and new business magazine readers.
During the ceremony, the host mentioned that readers highlighted the emotional connection they felt with the campaign and New Zealand's impressive landscapes as brought to life through the TVC.
