James Cameron and AMEX to reach over 1.4 million premium customers

Hot on the heels of the successful global James Cameron campaign, Tourism New Zealand have developed more content featuring the filmmaker aimed at those looking for a little luxury.

Significant features that highlight Cameron’s top tips for the North and South Island will be included in American Express luxury Centurion Departures magazines.

“James Cameron has a real passion for exploring New Zealand and we know that our premium market is after a similar experience,” says Lisa Gardiner, Manager Premium and Business Events.

“It made sense to build on the success of the earlier campaign and have him speak to those seeking out a new luxury experience.”

The campaign also includes a New Zealand section and display banners on both the Centurion and Departures websites.

“Our overseas based staff will also be out in the field prompting the content with AMEX consultants in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and UK/Europe.”

The campaign is also set to hit the American market in October.
