The 'Discover your 100% Pure New Zealand road trip' campaign launched in mid-October and positions New Zealand as an exciting, accessible and affordable holiday destination with Malaysian travellers.

"Through a joint venture campaign like this we are able to offer travellers a chance to fly here then take a tour at their own pace and explore a wide range of unique kiwi attractions," says Regional Manager South and South East Asia, Mischa Mannix-Opie.

New Zealand is an increasingly popular holiday destination for travellers from Malaysia with almost 16 per cent increase in visitors in the year ending August 2012.

"Malaysia is a very exciting market for New Zealand. While we are already attracting more and more Malaysian travellers to our country, we see a significant growth potential to come," says Mischa.

Through strategic partnerships with Malaysian Airlines and Auckland International Airport the campaign promotes return Kuala Lumpur-Auckland airfares
There are five unique holiday packages on offer consisting of five day/four night road trip's where travellers can experience destinations including Rotorua, Waitomo, the Milford Sound and more.

The promotional airfares and holiday packages are now available online at www.malaysiaairlines.com.

Selected Malaysian travel agents specializing in New Zealand travel also promoted these products at the Malaysian Association of Tours and Travel Agents, the largest Malaysian consumer travel show, held in September in Kuala Lumpur which was attended by Tourism New Zealand.
