Tourism New Zealand Business Events team helped open the 20th anniversary of MEETINGS 2016 today (15 June) hosting a breakfast for the Business Events industry attending the two day conference. 

Following an introduction by TNZ’s Director Trade, PR and Major Events René de Monchy, the Business Events offshore team members gave a New Zealand industry update with a presentation from our offshore incentives team, which can be downloaded below.

An annual event, CINZ MEETINGS invites conference and event organisers to experience the very best of what New Zealand has on offer in the conference and incentive travel industry. This year’s event is being held 15-16 June at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland.

As part of Tourism New Zealand’s wider activity in support of MEETINGS 2016, the team will host 42 targeted incentive buyers and four media from North America, China, India, South East Asia and Australia on a famil itinerary across the key incentive regions.
