Gregg Anderson will have key responsibility for the new 100% Pure New Zealand Experiences product that will acknowledge the very best sustainable operators.
Gregg’s experience in tourism includes management roles in the US and Europe for Tourism New Zealand. He has recently been part of the cross-agency team working on ‘Project Palace,’ identifying private sector hotel investment opportunities.
Qualmark General Manager Cameron Lawrence says Gregg’s breadth of knowledge working with international tourism networks means he brings invaluable insights into what tourists expect by way of a quality mark and what we need to deliver for high quality experiences.
Gregg will be joined by Sandie Dunsford and Rob Finlayson taking the number of Qualmark assessors to ten.
Sandie has been the owner of several SMEs, worked for major corporates and most recently was managing Queenstown Country Lodge, a five-star accommodation enterprise. She will bring perspective and insight to the tourism business assessor role as she focuses on accommodation businesses in the lower North Island.
Rob Finlayson has been at the forefront of some of New Zealand’s iconic tourism businesses. He also brings a wealth of experience across many sectors. He has recently worked with SME tourism businesses in a consultative function, offering expert advice and mentoring. Rob, who has been Qualmark assessed in previous roles, says he appreciates the challenges and is looking forward to working closely with the sector to deliver great value and recognise opportunities. He will focus on Endorsement businesses in the North Island.
