Tourism New Zealand wins PATA Grand Award Marketing for RWC 2011

The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) announced its 2012 Grand and Gold Award winners in Bangkok this week - with Tourism New Zealand taking out the Grand Award - Marketing for its Rugby World Cup 2011 campaign.

Tourism New Zealand was commended for the quality of its entry which was one of 189 entries received from 79 organisations and individuals worldwide

PATA Grand Awards are presented to outstanding entries in four principal categories: Marketing; Education and Training; Environment; and Heritage and Culture.

Tourism New Zealand Acting General Manager Asia Kate Necklen attended the awards ceremony on Saturday 21, 2012 in Kuala Lumpur to receive the award.
