Jump Start for PR in South Africa

Former Springbok Percy Montgomery took a leap of faith to help promote New Zealand on Tuesday.

The retired South African rugby player jumped off Auckland's Sky Tower with SkyJump, as part of a publicity stunt arranged by Tourism Auckland and supported by Tourism New Zealand to promote Rugby World Cup 2011 in September and October next year.

Photos and video footage of the jump have been shared with a range of South African sporting media, helping to promote New Zealand as the place to be for South African rugby fans in 2011.
