Materials/Shipment of Brochures

Tourism New Zealand suggests that delegates bring :

  • An ample supply of business cards
  • 350 copies of consumer brochures - Mandarin brochures are prefer

Delegates are advised against bringing large in stand units. Airlines may not grant extra baggage allowances, especially on the Asia flight sectors. Instead, consider bringing light, portable in stand or posters

Tourism New Zealand will require all participants to send their brochures direct to the hotel. Address details of the hotel will be advised to all participants once hotel have been confirmed.

Brochure Shipment

NO DVDs, CD ROMs - these must be carried in hand luggage to China

Tourism New Zealand recommends that all brochures be couriered in advance at least 2 months before the event.

Goods should also be marked "Promotional brochures only, free distribution - NOT For Sales". Declare the goods at the lowest value so as to avoid additional Customs charges. Tourism New Zealand is not responsible for any custom or additional clearance fees.

N.B. You must mark your cartoons with the name of the event - "China Travel Agents Training 2008"

For brochures arriving independently please contact Tourism New Zealand - Singapore, Theresa Goh at email : theresag@tnz.govt.nz. Tourism New Zealand will be responsible for delivering the brochures to the host venue once these have been received.
