Kiwi Link Japan is Tourism New Zealand's major training initiative in the Japan market and is an opportunity for both new and experienced tourism operators to develop and maintain relationships with the sales and planning staff of key Japanese travel companies through workshops in - Tokyo and Osaka.

Kiwi Link Japan provides the New Zealand industry with:

• An opportunity to update and increase the product knowledge of the agents, sales, retail and senior management staff.
• An opportunity for new and experienced suppliers to develop relationships with key Japanese travel companies.
• Interactive two way communication between Travel Agent staff and attending Delegates. The workshops will be split into two parts. The morning session will consist of 12 x 15min one to one meetings with Tourism New Zealand's identified key travel agent staff. The afternoon sessions will provide for 12 x 12min available time slots where the industry will be provided with the opportunity to move freely among the attending suppliers. This afternoon session will provide an opportunity to meet with group sales staff, front-liner staff and planning professionals from a broad range of travel agents within the tourism industry.
• Networking functions with key Japanese Travel companies and a briefing from Tourism New Zealand’s in-market staff on product development trends.
• Key agents in Nagoya will be invited for the Osaka venue on the 26th August.

Please note the critical deadlines, as the success of the event is dependent on meeting these dates. Due to logistical limitations final acceptance is limited to 15-20 companies. Final attendance will be at the discretion of Tourism New Zealand. The last date for receipt of your registration is 30 April, 2008.

Tourism New Zealand will advise all applicants within 10 days. Upon confirmation of participation, you will receive an invoice and further information about this event.
