Event OverviewThe aim of the event is to encourage travellers to gain information about the destinations and provide a one-stop shop for Singapore consumers to book directly at the show. There will be advertising and publicity campaigns covering consumer and trade media; and direct mail and multi media channels will be planned and executed to attract and achieve the target of 50,000 consumers. NATAS website : www.natas.travel Regional Tourism Organisations and major tourism operators with product selling in this market through wholesalers would benefit from attendance. NATAS is an opportunity to participate with Tourism New Zealand to increase your product profile, to up sell your own product and provide agents with on the spot assistance when customers have queries about New Zealand products. It is also an opportunity to get close and interact with Singapore consumers and better understand their travel needs Tourism operators participating for the event are recommended to contact Singapore wholesalers and retailers offering your product so that they can prepare packages with special airfare offers to be promoted and sold in the show. This will help to maximise your return on investment. Shipment of materials from New Zealand to Tourism New Zealand’s Singapore is at participant’s expense. Tourism New Zealand will cover storage and deliver to NATAS venue from there. Participants are recommended to bring a minimum of 1,000 brochures to be distributed over the 3 days. The show is open 10am to 9.30pm daily 29 Feb, 1 & 2 March 2008 The organiser is targeting 50,000 consumers to attend the show. During the show 8,000 Tourism New Zealand destination brochures & maps will be distributed. There will be internet access to demonstrate to consumers how to gather and plan their holiday using www.newzealand.com. We are expecting 3,000 consumer enquiries at TNZ’s booth.
