Flight Booking Procedures

Flight Bookings for Travelling in China

Tourism New Zealand will arrange your flight booking in China & Hong Kong as we will be travelling in a group. If you require additional flights to those listed below, please advise Theresa Goh email : theresag@tnz.govt.nz of your requirements (on the Registration Form) and the flight will be arranged for you.

The Estimated Cost of the airfare is as follows, and it may subject to changes.

Shanghai to Beijing (by Air) - NZ$250 per person per sector
Beijing - Guangzhou (by Air) - NZ$300 per person per sector
Guangzhou - Hong Kong (by Car) - NZ$65 per person

Tourism New Zealand will be responsible for ticketing the above sector for your travel and you will be invoiced for these flights at the time registration. All air tickets will be given to you upon arrival in Shanghai.

22/Oct/2008 Guangzhou - Hong Kong - by car (AM)

Accommodation:

Tourism New Zealand will negotiate group discount for hotels in Beijing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong. All frontline training workshop events will be hosted in the recommended hotels and Tourism New Zealand staff will be accommodated here. It would be preferred if all delegates stay in these hotels, however second options are provided for those who would like this information. Information will only be ready only when registration is completed.

Accommodation is at your expense. Please anticipate the costs detailed below:

Beijing - Estimate cost NZ$300 per room per night.
Guangzhou - Estimate cost NZ$300 per room per night.
Hong Kong - Estimate cost NZ$300 per room per night.

Transfers

Airport / hotel transfers will be provided by Tourism New Zealand for the following

1. Shanghai Hotel - Shanghai Airport

2. Beijing Airport - Beijing Hotel

3. Beijing Hotel - Beijing Airport

4. Guangzhou Airport - Guangzhou Hotel

5. Guangzhou Hotel - Hong Kong Hotel by car

Departure from Hong Kong hotel to Hong Kong International Airport will be at your own arrangement on 23 or 24 Oct 2008.
