Materials

Apply for this event online.

Materials Required

  • Ample supply of business cards
  • 90 Sets of Brochures

As the buyers are not being provided with a courier service to send their materials home, they may prefer you to mail the material after the event.

Foreign language brochures - we would highly recommend that you bring with you Mandarin, Thailand & Korea brochures for your appointment with the respective buyers. However this is no means a necessity.

We would advise suppliers not to bring large In Stand units as the airlines may not be able to grant extra excess baggage. We suggest that you bring light portable In Stands or posters to decorate your booth. Each supplier will be providing with a 3 x 2 Metres Booth Stand where you can make use of the panel to put display materials.

Brochure Shipment

TNZ can coordinate a shipment to Shanghai but Chinese customs can be a slow process and brochures would be required at least 3 months before the event.

In 2006 Kiwi Link Asia, a New Zealand operator's brochure shipment failed to arrive in China properly because it contained large numbers of CD and DVDs which have been strictly examined by China customs and finally been destroyed. As China has been very tough on importing CDs, DVDs and other promotional gifts sent from overseas, New Zealand operators are strongly encourage to carry all your brochures if it is not over your luggage allowance. It is also your own responsibility to make sure you have enough promotional material and brochures for Kiwi Link Asia 2008.

There is NO shipment of VCD, DVD or any Promotional Gifts. All these items must be carried by hand to Shanghai

If you are going to use Andy Sturm service for the shipment, here is the address you can send your promotional materials to.

A.G. Sturm Trading , Customs & International Freight brokerage, to bulk freight your brochures to China Shanghai at your own cost. If you wish to make use of this opportunity please contact Andy Sturm at A.G.Sturm Trading, Phone (04) 386 1520 or fax: (04) 38 1560,

Email: andy.sturm@xtra.co.nz

If you choose not to use Andy Sturm Trading then we suggest that you use a courier company that can track your shipments and can handle any delays that may occur at Customs. Please bring all tracking forms with you. Tourism New Zealand is not responsible for brochures held in customs.
