Kiwi Link Japan is Tourism New Zealand’s major training initiative in Japan and is an opportunity for new and experienced tourism operators to develop and maintain relationships with sales and product development staff of key Japanese travel companies. Kiwi Link is a travel trade expo and training format Tourism New Zealand has developed and replicates in key markets around the world.

Kiwi Link Japan provides the New Zealand industry with:
- An opportunity to update and increase the product knowledge of agents, sales, retail and senior management staff
- An opportunity for new and experienced suppliers to develop relationships with key Japanese travel companies
- Networking opportunities with key travel sellers
- Briefings from TNZ in-market staff on product development trends
Format of the event
The Kiwi Link Japan format consists of:
- Interactive business to business appointments
- Workshops consisting of:
- Morning sessions - New Zealand Seminar to Japan travel industry by TNZ staff including the introduction for the KIWI LINK 2010 suppliers and free meeting sessions with them after the seminar.
- Afternoon sessions - 16 x 15 min B2B meetings with Tourism New Zealand’s identified key travel sellers.
Key travel sellers from Nagoya and Osaka will be invited to Tokyo for the event
