Kiwi Link North America

Kia ora,

Tourism New Zealand is pleased to invite the New Zealand tourism industry to participate in Kiwi Link North America 2009. In an effort to preserve our environment Kiwi Link 2009 will highlight the importance of sustainability. This will be done through measures such as recycling, reducing paper use and encouraging venues and participants to engage in responsible environmental practices.

Kiwi Link North America is an opportunity for New Zealand tourism operators and regional representatives to educate a targeted audience of North American travel sellers. The 2009 event will be the eighth Kiwi Link for North America, with attendance by a range of wholesale, airline and retail travel partners seeking to update and develop their New Zealand product knowledge. By offering a coordinated approach to product training, Kiwi Link North America is an effective event for New Zealand product already sold in-market to increase their profile and recognition in North America.

Kiwi Link North America will be made up of the following events:

• Kiwi Link training days in Vancouver attended by approximately 100 retail and reservation agents
• Kiwi Link training days in Los Angeles attended by approximately 200 retail and reservation agents
• Product Manager appointment based days in both Vancouver and Los Angeles
• Kiwi Link webinar training for East Coast based trade
