In the year ending September 2008, there were 25,513 Dutch visitor arrivals , a 6.3 per cent decrease on the previous year. This number is expected to rise on average by 1.7 per cent annually between 2008 and 2014.

Over the past three years, arrivals from the Netherlands have demonstrated a consistent seasonal pattern. Arrivals remain fairly flat between April and September, rising to a peak over December and January In 2007 there were 25,889 visitor arrivals from the Netherlands, down 5.8% from the previous year.
