In the year ending September 2008, there were 25,513 Dutch visitor arrivals , a 6.3 per cent decrease on the previous year. This number is expected to rise on average by 1.7 per cent annually between 2008 and 2014.

| Over the past three years, arrivals from the Netherlands have demonstrated a consistent seasonal pattern. Arrivals remain fairly flat between April and September, rising to a peak over December and January In 2007 there were 25,889 visitor arrivals from the Netherlands, down 5.8% from the previous year.
