Tourism New Zealand coordinated the New Zealand exhibition stand
at IMEX Frankfurt for the first time in 2012.
At IMEX Frankfurt 2012:
- 3959 hosted buyers from 71 countries attended as guests of the
show organisers. The hosted buyer programme ensures that key
buyers attend the show, maximising the sales potential for
exhibitors.
- The show attracted 8782 visitors, excluding hosted buyers,
including thousands of German decision makers from the world's
third largest outbound meetings and incentive travel market.
- Nearly 140 separate seminars, workshops and short session
campfires took place in the most ambitious education programme to
date.
- Over 64,000 appointments took place between buyers and
exhibitors over the three day trade show, of which 40,000 were made
by individual buyers, the remainder being group appointments.
