What will you be doing
This is a pivotal new role in our New Zealand and Government Relations team where you will be required to gather and analyse information to assist with the planning, development and reviewing of our tourism strategies and our destination readiness activities. You will support the leadership team with key stakeholders on key workstreams, and support the development and implementation of our plans by delivering case studies, briefing materials, engagement plans, communications materials and by ensuring the right insights enable great decisions.
What we want from you
We need someone who has a relevant tertiary qualification in commerce, communications or marketing with around 2-3 years experience, ideally within a government organisation and/or a politically sensitive environment. You will need exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills (both written and verbal) as you will be required to prepare correspondence and briefing papers on key topics, and you will be comfortable analysing and building recommendations from complex data.
