Manaakitanga

The welcome we offer our visitors is what sets New Zealand apart as a visitor destination. Our special type of hosting, our manaakitanga  sees our visitors arrive as strangers but leave as whānau.

Research with international visitors shows that they rate the New Zealand holiday experience highly with 96 per cent saying their trip met or exceeded expectations.

On average, visitors rated their overall experience in New Zealand at 9.0 out of 10 and 81 per cent  were likely to recommend New Zealand as a travel destination. Read the full report here.
