Changes in Tourism New Zealand's offshore markets

Tourism New Zealand's GM Europe and the Americas, Gregg Anderson, will be taking a sabbatical from the organisation when he concludes his current contract in July 2015, after 22 years with the business.

He intends on returning from his sabbatical in late January 2016 after some well deserved travel and R&R.

Although Gregg's final day in LA is eight months away, recruitment for the GM, Americas and Europe position will commence immediately, providing ample time for transition and handover while maintaining continuity of service in the market.

In Indonesia, Country Manager Christian Sidharta has left the organisation to set up his own business and former GM of Asia Tony Everitt has been appointed to the role on a short term contract. Tony has a wealth of experience in Asia, including in Indonesia. His main priorities will be to provide overall team leadership, to drive the Trade Plan and to set in motion the process to find a permanent Country Manager.
