The campaign features an online quiz on newzealand.com to guide potential travellers to explore what type of New Zealand holiday would suit their travel preferences.
Tourism New Zealand General Manager Australia Tony Saunders says, “The campaign showcases a range of iconic New Zealand locations and experiences aimed at inspiring Australian’s to explore what their ideal New Zealand holiday would look like.
“Based on their choices through the quiz, they are presented a bespoke video that brings to life the range of experiences that awaits them in New Zealand along with a list of recommendations to start planning their New Zealand holiday.
Tourism New Zealand has partnered with Air New Zealand and travel seller Helloworld to make it easier for travellers to book and make their dream trip a reality.
“Based on our research we know the types of holiday and top experiences that appeal to these visitors and the idea is to help them pull together the perfect combination– and ultimately book their holiday.”
Australia is New Zealand’s largest source of visitor arrivals, with a key focus for Tourism New Zealand to grow the number of first time arrivals.
The campaign launched 10 March and will run until late April to drive autumn travel and grow shoulder season arrivals.
“Findings from the campaign will help to guide our campaign work in the new financial year,” says Tony.
