Key appointments for TNZ in the Americas and Europe

New faces are set to join TNZ’s experienced UK and American offices, with key roles now filled and recruitment well underway for the remaining positions.

In June, the Los Angeles office will welcome Haydn Fitzpatrick to the role of Premium Trade Manager, North America.

Commenting on the appointment, Bjoern Spreitzer, General Manager Americas and Europe says; “Haydn joins TNZ from ‘Over the Top Helicopter’ and has worked with a number of TNZ’s US luxury travel partners. His first-hand experience with the New Zealand luxury offering and strong ties with the New Zealand travel industry means he will be a great asset to the team and our work to engage with high net-worth individuals.”

TNZ has also appointed Vanessa Farquharson as its Regional Marketing Communications Manager, Americas. The appointment follows the departure of Richard Bryant who leaves TNZ on 27 May.

“Over the last three and a half years Richard has delivered many successful campaigns including 100% Pure New Zealand, 100% Middle-earth and Every Day a Different Journey; and supported the organisation at a time of significant expansion, and I thank him for his commitment and hard work,” says Bjoern.

There have also been some changes in TNZ’s UK office, and it is exciting to announce that Fenja Schiebuhr has been appointed as Trade Manager Europe, from her current role of Trade Development Consultant.

“Fenja joined TNZ in 2012, and it is fantastic to acknowledge her dedication to the organisation and be able to promote such an experienced staff member internally,’ says Bjoern.

TNZ’s UK PR team has also had some changes, with Kate Campbell moving to Singapore to take up the PR Manager role for South & South East Asia. Recruitment is currently underway with interviews being held for the PR Manager UK and Europe role in coming weeks.

TNZ continues to expand its team in the emerging South American markets of Brazil and Argentina, currently working with Air New Zealand to employee a Market Development Executive in Argentina. With recruitment moving to interview stage in May more news will be shared on this in the future.
