Kiwi camping profiled to over 100,000 in Japan

New Zealand's fun, relaxed and adventurous side has been featured with a six-page spread in May's issue of popular lifestyle magazine Brutus, which reaches over 100,000 readers.

The special camping edition features New Zealand as the only international destination and focuses on the fun and freedom of camping in New Zealand.

The six-page article highlights New Zealand scenery and showcases local activities and attractions, reinforcing a sense of fun and adventure that will appeal to both younger travellers and FIT travellers in Japan.

Brutus travelled to New Zealand as part of Tourism New Zealand's International Media Programme (IMP). During the famil Brutus journalist Kosuke Ide and photographer Koh Akazawa experienced a quintessential Kiwi camping trip, visiting and camping at iconic destinations including Lake Tarawera, Mt Maunganui and Papamoa Beach.

They also explored local attractions such as nature walks, swimming, hot springs and fishing, all of which feature heavily in the article.
