Latest joint venture campaign targets over 350,000 Japanese travellers

Tourism New Zealand launched its latest joint venture campaign in Japan last week, working to target over 350,000 free and independent  (FIT) Japanese travellers.

The campaign is run with Jetstar to promote travel to New Zealand, while also creating awareness of the airlines everyday low fares to New Zealand.

The campaign launched March 21 and promotes Jetstar's latest special airfare offer to New Zealand, at a new low of JPY15,350, available for a five day period only.

A digital campaign will work to drive traffic to a dedicated landing page on where FIT holiday options and itineraries will be promoted to travellers.

The campaign will be further supported by a targeted New Zealand electronic direct mailto Jetstar's growing database of over 350,000 Japanese customers, as well as promotions on Jetstar's own homepage.

Social media will also be used to support the promotion.
