New Zealand has scooped the December issue cover story along with a 12 page spread. It is the first piece of work to come out of Tourism New Zealand’s new partnership with LATAM and will be followed by another feature later in the year. Both features will also be supported by in seat screen video content.
“There are millions of people in Latin America actively considering a holiday in New Zealand and these magazine spreads and videos are an amazing opportunity to encourage those people to make it a reality,” says Bjoern Spreitzer, General Manager Americas and Europe.
Brazil and Argentina are markets showing steady growth supporting by increasing flight connectively. There are around 14 million people in Brazil and Argentina actively considering a holiday to New Zealand.
“The exposure for New Zealand is incredibly valuable and has been received well by passengers who are being drawn in by images of our amazing landscapes and unique activities.”
More partnership opportunities are now being explored between Tourism New Zealand and LATAM.
Research shows that the Brazilian market are keen to travel to countries where they can visit beaches and urban areas and experience arts, culture, adventure activities and good wine and food.
LATAM is the biggest airline in Latin America, operating in Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. They have 1500 daily flights to 138 destinations in 24 countries, including Europe, United States, Oceania and the Caribbean. 5.8 million passengers fly with LATAM every month.
