Tourism New Zealand has wrapped up its Roadshows for November 2018. Thank you to everyone who registered for these events, making this one of the most popular TNZ Roadshows yet.
The focus on the importance of data and digital technology for the tourism sector was an opportunity for attendees to press pause and consider how their operations could benefit from greater adoption in these areas.
The Roadshow events coincided with the launch of the new Figure.NZ tourism data hub – the result of Tourism New Zealand’s recent partnership with Figure.NZ. The new ‘Business Figures for Tourism’ section on the Figure.NZ website helps the tourism industry, investors, researchers and everyday New Zealanders to better identify opportunities within tourism, understand change for the sector and make informed business decisions through the use of data.
Google and Figure.NZ provided the opportunity to share more insights into digital trends such as ‘Google for business’ and using data to help answer business questions.
If you were unable to attend these events, check out the videos below for the Tourism New Zealand, Google and Figure.NZ presentations.
Note: The Queenstown event was postponed due to flight cancellations. A new date will be set in the New Year.
