TNZ partners with Qantas for first time in Japan

Tourism New Zealand's first joint venture promotion with Qantas launched in Japan 11 April with a special fare offer on sale till the end of May.

Targeting the 'Young Adventurers' segment, the activity directs potential traveller's to a dedicated campaign page on complete with independent travel itineraries with a self-drive theme.

The campaign aims to increase awareness of Qantas fares and its convenient one-stop access from Japan to Queenstown and the Southern Lakes region.

Rolled across digital media the campaign is supported with a New Zealand themed page on and a targeted electronic direct mail to the Qantas database of 25,000 Japanese customers.
