Tourism New Zealand campaign recognised at the Australian Effie Awards

Tourism New Zealand's joint venture marketing campaign 'Every day a different story' has been awarded silver and bronze in two categories at the prestigious Australian Effie Awards 2014. 

The Effie Awards honour significant achievements in advertising and marketing communications effectiveness and are awarded to campaigns that have delivered superior results in meeting the objectives they were designed to achieve.

Tourism New Zealand was awarded a bronze and silver placing respectively in the categories of 'Tourism and Travel Services' and 'Best Return on Investment' amongst a record 39 awards presented.

Tourism New Zealand's General Manager Australia Tony Saunders said the awards are a testament to the campaign's success, acknowledging the joint efforts from regional tourism organisations, tourism operators, travel trade and airline partners.

The latest evolution in Tourism New Zealand's 100% Pure New Zealand campaign, 'Every day a different journey', was launched in market last month.

"'By highlighting the diverse range of experiences the North Island has to offer, all within close proximity of one another, 'Every day a different journey' invites Australians to visit New Zealand and have their own unique journey," says Tony.

Tourism New Zealand was recently named Best International Tourist Office for the second time in four years at the Australian Federation of Travel Agents National Travel Industry Awards 2014.
