Tourism New Zealand to administer CAP

Tourism New Zealand has welcomed the Ministry of Economic Development's decision that Tourism New Zealand will administer the Conference Assistance Programme (CAP) for the next three years.

Chief Executive, Kevin Bowler said that the Conference Assistance Programme fits well with Tourism New Zealand's international marketing strategy to attract more higher spending visitors, with research contained in the Convention Delegate Survey showing that conference delegates spend up to three times more a day than other international visitors.
