The extra $29.5m funding will be committed across four key areas of Tourism New Zealand's business: international business events, emerging markets, high-value premium travel and the up-scaling of specific activity in core markets.
At TRENZ, Tourism New Zealand CE Kevin Bowler presented on the direction of the organisation in its new Three Year Marketing Strategy, for implementation from 1 July, following the announcement from the Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism.
