Using website analytics and the feedback you have given us, we have been able to identify what's working and what's not. We found there is confusion between our consumer site newzealand.com and our corporate website tourismnewzealand.com, we had too much content and not always what you wanted and we saw it could be better organised. The result - ongoing changes to ensure we're providing you the information you want, regularly and in a way that's easy to find.
A refreshed and reorganised homepage was launched last week and the latest information from Tourism New Zealand can be found right at the top of the page. Latest news and market information is also accessible from the homepage with the click of a link.
Our Markets and Stats section provides statistics, market trends and activity for Tourism New Zealand's key target markets. Having re-organised the section, information on each market is now all in one place making it easier to find what you need. Highlights and media results from journalists who visit New Zealand as part of our International Media Programme are a recent addition.
Other changes include a new Sector Marketing section allowing us to communicate the work we're doing in key 'special interest' sectors like Youth and Business Events, and a refreshed Events section providing information about upcoming trade related activity, including the functionality to apply online to attend events.
