TRENZ is New Zealand’s biggest annual business-to-business travel and trade event. It is managed by the Tourism Industry Aotearoa (TIA), with the support of Tourism New Zealand and Air New Zealand.
Over the four days of appointments, activities and networking functions, more than 1500 delegates gather to connect, do business and gain fresh media stories.
Over 1100 New Zealand tourism industry leaders and professionals, and top government representatives, meet to showcase their products and services to over 380 International and New Zealand Buyers. With ample opportunities to connect, network and secure contracts, the event has been a huge driver of tourism business since its conception.
TRENZ is an excellent way to get to know the offshore travel trade, educate them about your product and build business relationships, as well as to network with hundreds of other operators and people from the New Zealand tourism industry.
You should participate in at least one TRENZ before considering travelling offshore with Tourism New Zealand. Identify the markets you are thinking of operating in and focus on obtaining appointments with buyers and agents from these markets.
