Tourism New Zealand is extending an invitation to international business event planners who seek more for their next event through the new, 100% Pure New Zealand campaign ‘If You Seek’.
‘If You Seek’ showcases how Aotearoa New Zealand rewards those curious enough to look a little deeper and who seek more authentic, meaningful experiences.
“We know conference attendees want more out of their business event, and New Zealand can offer unique, transformative cultural experiences, meaningful connections with people and place, world-class venues and breath-taking scenery,” says René de Monchy, Tourism New Zealand’s Chief Executive.
“Business events are an important part of our strategy to attract high-quality visitors who bring valuable knowledge sharing and networking opportunities to Aotearoa New Zealand.”
In the 2022 financial year alone, Tourism New Zealand supported 72 bids for international business events with an estimated economic value of $106 million.
“These events also provide an economic boost across our regions, showcase our local talent, increase New Zealand’s expertise and support the tourism sector’s recovery.”
Business events include international conferences that bring people together to share the latest innovative ideas, research and discuss future opportunities; and incentive programmes, sponsored trips that allow companies to reward effort and loyalty.
